Leader in Energy and Environmental Design” LEED Certification System
With the LEED Certificate system LEED HOMES Gold candidate villa project KAIZEN ,
we pioneered the construction of a "Leader in Energy and Environmental Design" building,
breaking new ground in Northern Cyprus.
The building features with LEED Certificate are explained as follows.
The LEED certification system is an environmentally friendly building certification
system developed by the American Green Building Council (USGBC).
KAIZEN will be the first LEED Certified Villa Project in Northern Cyprus.
While reducing energy consumption thanks to the use of an energy efficient VRF system,
LED lighting fixtures and high-performance façade design,
comfortable houses that offer the opportunity to produce their own
electricity on the roof with the photovoltaic panel system infrastructure and
that can meet the hot water need with a heat pump boiler that will work integrated with
solar panels have been designed.
By using special water efficient armatures, savings will be achieved in indoor water
consumption as well as comfort of use. It is aimed to provide high level of
water savings in irrigation with landscape design by using ecological, sustainable,
local and adapted plants. Ventilation solutions have been created by choosing
natural and low-emission materials that will increase the indoor life quality.
It is aimed to encourage innovation, leadership, environmental management and
social responsibility with the environment-friendly building certificate.
